US mixed premarket amid tech sector earnings

Stock exchanges on Wall Street traded mixed during Thursday's premarket hours as investors digested the latest financial results by America's biggest names in the tech industry and the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision.

Arm Holdings Plc. shared an underwhelming second-quarter guidance for its fiscal 2025, which led the company's stock to plummet as much as 10% during the extended trading hours after the earnings announcement. Qualcomm, Meta Platforms, and eBay also posted their quarterly results. After the closing bell in New York today, Amazon, Coinbase, Intel, Apple, Booking.com, Snap, and DoorDash will announce their earnings.

The S&P 500 was flat and the Nasdaq 100 added 0.10% at 4:14 am ET. The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.12%. The euro fell 0.39% against the greenback, changing hands for 1.07842.
