Stock equities on Wall Street traded higher during Monday's premarket hours as investors braced for the start of the second half of 2024 which will be marked by fresh readings of the United States' activity in the manufacturing sector.
This morning, Boeing announced that it will acquire its fuselage maker Spirit AeroSystems Holdings Inc. for $4.7 billion following a series of incidents on the carrier's 737 MAX aircraft.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average was flat at 4:12 am ET. The Nasdaq 100 gained 0.23% and the S&P 500 rose 0.19%. The euro advanced 0.35% against the US dollar, trading at 1.07528.
