Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) saw a monthly rise of 0.3% or $57.6 billion in June, the Bureau of Economic Analysis said in its report published on Friday.
Meanwhile, personal income grew by 0.2% or $50.4 billion over the same period.
The PCE price index went up by 0.1% on a monthly basis and 2.5% on an annual one. Excluding food and energy, the figure increased by 0.2% month-on-month and 2.6% year-on-year.
