US to revoke legal status for 532,000 immigrants

The United States Department of Homeland Security said it will revoke legal protection for 532,000 Haitians, Cubans, Nicaraguans and Venezuelans who came to the US after October 2022, according to the department.

According to US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the immigrants will lose their legal status on April 24 or 30 days after the notice is published in the Federal Register.
