The United States will be sending an additional $1.1 billion in military aid to Ukraine, the country's officials told reporters on Wednesday, at the request of anonymity.
The most recent package, which will be provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, is expected to secure 18 more advanced rocket systems, alongside various other armaments, that could fight off Russia's combat drones.
In more detail, the officials noted that the package will include 18 High-Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), as well as ammunition for them, 12 Titan systems, 300 vehicles, communication gadgets, and various radars, alongside equipment that will help in explosive detection. The official notice is expected later during the day.
