The United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) announced that it and its local partners arrested 394 members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua (TDA) since US President Donald Trump took office, according to Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

“I’m proud to say in the past 48 hours, ICE, along with our local partners and our other fellow federal agencies, has arrested more than 68 TDA gang members, terrorists in the United States. To date, we’ve arrested 394 of these terrorists,” Lyons said during a news conference in Orlando, Florida. He added that the goal of his agency is to "eradicate TDA from US soil."

Last week, Trump invoked the Alien Enemies Act in order to expedite the deportation of migrants associated with TDA.
