Ukraine: Attacks on Russia payback for war

MIKHAILO PODOLYAK / TELEGRAM

Mikhaylo Podolyak (pictured), an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said on Wednesday that the Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod and Kursk in Russia represented "karma" and payback for Russia's military intervention in Ukraine.

"If you decide to massively attack another country, massively kill everyone there, massively crush civilians with tanks, and use warehouses in your regions to ensure the killings, then sooner or later the debts will have to be repaid," Podolyak stated in a Telegram message.

The attacks came after United Kingdom Undersecretary of State for the Armed Forces James Heappey encouraged Kiev to carry out attacks on the Russian territory in response to Moscow's actions in Ukraine.
