Ukrainian shelling injures child in Kherson region, Russia says

Ukrainian shelling left one child injured in Nova Kakhovka, located in the Kherson region, TASS reported on Wednesday.

"At 23:00 in Nova Kakhovka, a child born in 2009 was injured as a result of shelling. The façade, roof, glazing of the window frames of an apartment building were damaged," the press secretary of the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Vasilenko, told the news agency.

The child's legs were injured by shrapnel and he was rushed to the Kakhovka Central District Hospital, Vasilenko added.
