United States Vice President JD Vance said on Friday that he expects a deal for TikTok to be agreed before the April 5 deadline.
"There will almost certainly be a high-level agreement that I think satisfies our national security concerns, allows there to be a distinct American TikTok enterprise," Vance told NBC News in an interview conducted aboard Air Force Two.
Earlier this week, a media report claimed that Oracle is seen as the top favorite to play a key role in running TikTok in the US after President Donald Trump postponed a ban on TikTok and gave the social media company 75 days to take action to address US national security concerns "while saving a platform used by 170 million Americans."
