United States Vice President JD Vance discussed the Trump administration's efforts to tackle illegal immigration during a Fox News interview with Sean Hannity, which aired on Wednesday.
Vance explained that if the US takes a foreign policy action that angered a terrorist organization, the threat of retaliation isn't necessarily coming from overseas. Instead, he pointed out that these individuals could already be in the US. He continued, revealing that many violent criminals' names and addresses were known, but action had been delayed. "Sometimes we don't know where they are, but sometimes we actually do... it's shocking to me," Vance said. "We knew their addresses. We knew their names. We just need to send somebody to go to their house and get them the hell out of the country."
Vance emphasized the goals of the administration, highlighting a 60% reduction in illegal entries at the southern border since Trump's first week in office. "We've got 20 plus million illegal aliens in this country, we have got to get these people out of our country and regain control of our own border," he said.
