The ongoing conflict between Hamas and Israel has claimed the lives of at least 34,388 Palestinians since October 7, the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in the enclave unveiled on Saturday.
According to the ministry's estimates, 77,437 people have been injured in the war-torn enclave since the beginning of the war. In the past 24 hours, the ministry recorded 32 deaths and 69 injuries.
In a related development, Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 reported that the National Security Minister of Israel, Itamar Ben-Gvir, proposed to execute some Palestinian prisoners to solve the overcrowding issue in Israeli jails at a cabinet meeting earlier this week.
