Austrian Security advisor Sascha Wandl said on Wednesday in an interview for oe24.tv that his former employee Julian Hessenthaler and Vienna lawyer Ramin Mirfakhrai made the seven-hour video footage, using the surveillance system at the Ibiza villa.

Wandl added that the reason for the production of the video was to attempt to sell it for €1.5 million to €5 million. However, he believes that there are political reasons behind it as well.

Professor Gert Schmidt said in the oe24.tv interview that lawyer Mirfakhrai has very good connections to the left parties in Austria.
