China's Vice Minister of Commerce Qian Keming said on Monday the United States should not connect the issues of trade between the two countries with the problem of North Korea's nuclear and missile program, AFP reported.
"We believe that the North Korea nuclear issue and China-US trade are two issues that are in two completely different domains," Qian noted. He added that the two issues are "not related" and they shouldn't be "discussed together."
Earlier, US President Donald Trump blasted China for doing "nothing" regarding North Korea, while profiting from trade with the US.
