First count in Argentina shows Milei won 56% of votes

Javier Milei (pictured) won 56% of the votes cast in the Argentine presidential election, the country's electoral commission said in its first estimate.

The other candidate, Sergio Massa, won 44%, the commission added.

Earlier, Massa conceded victory to the leader of the right-wing populist La Libertad Avanza (LLA) party.
