Hamas claimed on Monday that it released two more hostages "through Egyptian-Qatari mediation." The militant group identified the two freed hostages as Nurit Yitzhak and Yehudit Levshitz.

"It should be noted that the enemy refused to receive them since last Friday and continues to neglect the file of its prisoners. We decided to release them for compelling humanitarian and health reasons, despite the occupation [Israel] committing more than eight violations of the procedures that were agreed upon with the mediating brothers for the occupation to adhere to during this day to complete the handover process," Hamas wrote on one of its Telegram pages.
