Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers winning the Super Bowl LVIII, with a score of 25-22.
The game went into overtime, which occurred only once before in Super Bowl history, in 2017. The winning touchdown was scored by receiver Mecole Hardman after a successful three-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The Kansas City Chiefs are the first team to go back-to-back in 19 years, winning their second Super Bowl in a row, a feat previously accomplished by the New England Patriots in 2003-04 and 2004-05.
