Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei urged the Islamic world on Wednesday to stop food and oil exports to Israel amid its attacks on Gaza.
"This war isn’t a war between Israel and Gaza. It’s a war between falsehood and truth, a war between the arrogant powers and faith. The world of imperialism has come forward with bombs, military pressure, tragedies, and crime, but you should know that the power of faith will overcome all of these, with God’s grace," Khamenei claimed and urged Israel to "immediately" stop its bombing of Gaza and slammed Western countries for referring to "Palestinian fighters" as "terrorists."
Earlier this week, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called for using "the last political opportunities to stop the war" between Israel and Hamas before it spreads across the region.
