AP Moller-Maersk A/S revealed on Wednesday that it scheduled multiple vessels to travel through the Suez Canal and the Red Sea in upcoming weeks, although it said the schedule is "subject to change based on specific contingency plans that may be formed over the coming days."

Previously, the company decided to temporarily halt shipping via the Red Sea due to continuous attacks on commercial vessels conducted by Yemen's Houthi rebels.

However, Maersk decided to restart the Red Sea transit after the international coalition led by the United States deployed warships to protect commercial vessels traveling through the Red Sea.
