Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy, urged the Democratic Party to abandon its plans of passing the $2 trillion spending bill due to the rapidly rising inflation in the United States.

"The American people want an end to the chaos this administration has created, and today's data is clear: we can't afford the consequences of the Democrats' failed agenda," McCarthy insisted.

Criticism of President Joe Biden's economic agenda comes from both Republican and Democratic circles, as Senator Joe Manchin insisted earlier today that the current state of inflation is not transitory, but getting worse instead.
