Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that the country is willing to help North Korea with satellite building.

Answering the journalists' questions at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, the head of state noted that this was the reason he came to the cosmodrome with North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un, adding that the latter will be shown new objects.

"The leader of North Korea shows great interest in rocket technology, they are trying to develop space [equipment]," Russia's president shared. Meanwhile, when asked about the military cooperation between the two, Putin said that "there is time" and that everything will be discussed "slowly."
