United States Senate voted to block US President Donald Trump's national emergency declaration over the wall on the southern border of the country.
Lawmakers passed the measure with a 59 to 41 vote, with twelve Republican Senators supporting it, including Mit Romney who said earlier "a vote for the Constitution and for the balance of powers that is at its core," adding it wasn't "a vote against border security.
Earlier, Trump stated he was prepared, "if necessary," to veto the repeal.
