The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Tuesday that the country's air defense systems successfully foiled attempts by Ukrainian 'saboteurs' to infiltrate several regions of the Russian Federation.
"Last night, the Russian Armed Forces foiled the Kiev regime's attempt to launch terrorist attacks using 25 fixed-wing UAVs against facilities in the Russian Federation. The alerted air defense units shot down Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over Moscow, Leningrad, Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Tula, and Orlyol regions," the ministry said.
On the same matter, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov commented that the country's military remains "on alert."
