Toyota, Isuzu reportedly to make light hydrogen fuel cell truck

Isuzu Motors Ltd. will begin mass production of a hydrogen fuel cell light truck jointly with Toyota Motor Corporation after 2025, Nikkei Asia reported on Tuesday, adding that the company is also considering joint development for fuel cell buses.

According to the report, the company intends to reduce the prices of the new vehicle to electric truck levels by revising its production methods.

Isuzu will reportedly be making the body for the vehicle which will also be based on Toyota's fuel cell technology.
