United States President Donald Trump threatened to take legal action against Nevada Democrats, accusing them of trying to exploit the coronavirus pandemic to enforce mail-in voting and to "steal the state" during the elections.
"In an illegal late night coup, Nevada's clubhouse Governor made it impossible for Republicans to win the state. Post Office could never handle the Traffic of Mail-In Votes without preparation. Using Covid to steal the state. See you in Court!," Trump wrote on Twitter on Monday.
Yesterday, Nevada lawmakers passed a bill that would entail sending ballots to all active voters by mail for the November elections. Trump voiced his opposition to mail-in voting multiple times.
