United Kingdom lawmakers rejected Prime Minister Theresa May's withdrawal agreement on Friday with 286 MPs voting in favor and 344 opposing the motion.
The existing Brexit deal was defeated in Parliament for the third time and, since the European Union has insisted that the agreement cannot be reopened, the UK is now likely to either leave the bloc on April 12 without any deal or be forced to seek a longer extension to Brexit.
Ahead of the vote, May warned that today's vote could be "the last opportunity to guarantee Brexit" and deliver on the result of the 2016 referendum and honor the will of the British people.
