United States State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said on Wednesday that no humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing despite it being reopened earlier today.

However, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) shared video footage showing a convoy of trucks entering the enclave via the crossing hours earlier.

During the press briefing, Miller revealed that despite Israel's assurances, the Rafah crossing in the southern part of the Gaza Strip remains closed and urged Israeli authorities to ensure the delivery of aid into Gaza.
