Media: US tornadoes kill at least 26 people

The number of people killed after tens of tornadoes hit the United States late this week increased to 26, local media reported.

Deaths have been documented in Tennessee, Arkansas, Indiana, Illinois, Alabama, Mississippi and Delaware.

Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland suffered the most power outages, according to poweroutage.us.
