2 Iranian crew members missing, several hurt after tanker collision

The Iranian army said on Thursday that two Iranian crew members went missing after their boat collided with a foreign oil tanker.

Iran added that several more crew members were injured in the incident.

Earlier, the Iranian army confirmed the tanker that was involved in the collision was seized by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) after it collided with the Iranian boat and "tried to flee." The United States slammed Tehran for seizing the Marshall Islands-flagged vessel and urged it to "immediately release" the tanker.
