An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 shook the province of Sincik, Turkey, the United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported on Thursday.
The earthquake's epicenter was registered 12 kilometers northwest of Sincik, home to 7100 people, and struck at a depth of 5 kilometers, the USGS stated.
There were no immediate reports of damage. Residents of Malatya, 32 kilometers away from the event, said they felt it.
