A 6.0-magnitude earthquake was recorded off the coast of Canada's Vancouver Island on Thursday, according to data provided by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).
The epicenter was located at a depth of 10 kilometers at 8:54 am local time, with the town closest to the affected region being Port McNeill, home to around 2,000 people.
No damage has been reported so far and no tsunami warning issued.
