An Amazon spokeswoman stated Friday to AFP that a strike by the Teamsters union has caused "no disruptions at all" to the company's operations and added, they "aren't anticipating any either."
The labor action, which began Thursday, targeted seven Amazon facilities across the United States after the Teamsters union initiated the strike as Amazon did not meet its December 15 deadline to negotiate a contract.
"The truth is that they were unable to get enough support from our employees and partners and have brought in outsiders to harass and intimidate our team, which is inappropriate and dangerous," the spokeswoman said, dismissing the union's portrayal of its position.
