United States President Joe Biden claimed that the US does not consider "what is happening in Gaza" as genocide, as he delivered his remarks in celebration of the Jewish American Heritage Month at the White House on Monday.
He also stressed that his administration is working "round the clock" to free the remaining hostages held by Hamas, emphasizing his "ironclad" commitment to Israel's security and right to exist. "We stand with Israel to take out Sinwar and the butchers of Hamas… We’re also committed to bringing the region together to work towards a two-state solution," Biden said.
He condemned the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrant applications against the Israeli leadership, adding that "Israel wants to do all it can to ensure civilian protection."
