Capitol Police looking into death threat at US HHS - reports

Capitol Police increased its presence at the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) amid a potential bomb threat, several media outlets reported on Wednesday.

The police closed all the roads leading to Hubert H. Humphrey Building, the department's headquarters, which are Independence Avenue Southwest (SW) between Washington Avenue and Third Street SW, and C Street SW between Second Street and Third Street SW.

No official comments about the accountability for the threat or who was present at the building at the time have been made yet.
