Europe tumbles further, DAX, CAC plunge 2%

Major stock indexes in Europe continued trading lower deep into the Wednesday session with DAX and CAC 40 plunging 2% at 1:55 am CET. The West is firm in its decision to cripple Russia, as many continue to condemn the actions of the latter and impose sanctions.

The DAX was down 2.00% or 287 points at 1:55 pm CET. London's FTSE 100 decreased 0.36% a minute later. The CAC 40 plunged 2.08% at 1:57 pm CET.

The euro gained 0.11% against the dollar at 1:58 pm CET, selling for $1.09162. The pound was 0.08% higher than the greenback to go for $1.30837 a minute later.
