French anti-terror prosecutors told AFP on Tuesday that two men suspected of having links to the perpetrator of the recent deadline attack in Brussels have been charged.
According to the prosecutors, a Paris judge charged the two men, who were detained last week. with forming a terrorist criminal group and complicity in murder linked to a terrorist plot. Another two people had been arrested in the Paris region in connection to the attack but have since been released.
Last week, a man of Tunisian origin killed two Swedish football fans in the Belgian capital ahead of a UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying match between Belgium and Sweden. The suspect was shot dead by the police.
