Yemen's Houthi rebel group spokesperson Yahya Saree (pictured) announced on Thursday in a video posted on X that the militant group fired two hypersonic ballistic missiles toward Tel Aviv.
According to the spokesman, the missile attack was carried out against "two specific and sensitive military targets of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Yaffa area." He further stated that the action was completed successfully. Houthis insisted that the "Israeli aggression" won't deter them from their "moral duty" to respond to the "massacres in the Gaza Strip."
Meanwhile, in a social media post, Israeli President Isaac Herzog praised the army's strikes on Houthis. "In the last few hours, we have seen the tremendous ability and bravery of the Israeli Air Force, defending our people against an attack by the Iranian terrorist proxy - the Houthis in Yemen - and striking them with powerful force," he wrote.
