The International Court of Justice (ICJ) announced on Thursday that it will provide its decision regarding South Africa's plea for additional interim actions against Israel's operations in the Gaza Strip, including Rafah, on Friday, May 24.
"Tomorrow at 3 pm the ICJ will deliver its Order on the request for the modification and the indication of provisional measures submitted by South Africa on 10 May 2024 in the case South Africa vs Israel," the ICJ posted on X.
South Africa has disclosed instances of what they deem as Israel's "genocidal behavior," involving the loss of Palestinian women and children at an extremely concerning frequency. In response, Israel acknowledged the ongoing conflict with Hamas in Gaza, referring to it as a "tragic war," but firmly denied any allegations of genocide.
