Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney argued on Tuesday the decision to make changes to the Northern Ireland Protocol unilaterally by his British counterpart Liz Truss is of "great concern."
"Such unilateral action in respect of an internationally binding agreement is damaging to trust and will serve only to make it more challenging to find solutions," explained Coveney in a statement.
The European Union explained that unilateral changes to the agreement are "unacceptable," warning the Union will respond accordingly in case the UK moves forward with the bill.
