Israeli forces raided the West Bank town of Qafin, north of Tulkarem, the Wafa news agency reported, citing local sources.

Troops reportedly patrolled several areas, including the al-Jazayer neighborhood and the surroundings of al-Rahman Mosque.

Overnight Israel also shelled the Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City, leading to the deaths of at least eight people.
