Kremlin: No comments on US proposal on Iran's uranium

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declined to address media speculation regarding the purported American suggestion for Iran to move its enriched uranium stockpile to Russian territory.

"I will leave this question without comment," Peskov told journalists. Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated confidence in Iran's stance but "pessimism" about US intentions in nuclear talks.

Previously, the Guardian indicated that Iran would likely dismiss an American initiative proposing the relocation of its enriched uranium reserves to another nation, such as Russia, as a component of a potential agreement with Washington to reduce Iran's nuclear capabilities.
