Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused on Thursday the United States of not wanting to enter peace negotiations about the conflict in Ukraine and of preventing Poland from doing so.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) in Yerevan, Lukashenko identified what he described as "only one danger" in Washington's eyes. "A nuclear conflict, nuclear weapons. Why? Because then it will be hot for them. This is their approach," he claimed.
Earlier in the day, Lukashenko stated that the only way for Ukraine to avoid "complete destruction" is to enter peace negotiations with Russia.
