Moderna Inc's CEO Stephane Bancel announced o Wednesday that the firm is "open" and has "the capacity" to supply COVID vaccines to China. However, the CEO didn't give details on whether they have presented its vaccine for approval there.
He also mentioned that there is a 20% probability that a "problematic" strain of the virus could emerge next winter. "We should just always be humble about biology," he added.
Recently, China's National Health Commission (NHC) said the COVID-19 situation in the country remains "serious and complex." The government has not yet curbed community spread and virus spillover.
