Mossad chief David Barnea (pictured) and the rest of the negotiation team representing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government returned to Israel, after holding meetings with mediators in Doha, according to The Times of Israel on Friday.
The media said two Israeli officials confirmed the group is back in the country after holding talks over the Gaza ceasefire and hostage deals with Hamas.
Earlier, senior Hamas official Osama Hamdan told AFP that the group hoped to receive an official response after discussing new proposals to end the conflict with Israeli negotiators "likely today or tomorrow morning."
