Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday that Israel has resumed full-scale military operations against Hamas following failed negotiations over hostage releases.

In a televised address, he stated that intelligence services and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) recommended the renewed offensive after Hamas rejected multiple ceasefire proposals. "We have gone back to fighting," Netanyahu declared.

He further emphasized that military pressure will now dictate any further talks. "From now on, negotiations will be conducted only under fire," he said. His statement comes hours after a deadly attack in Gaza overnight.
