The number of people who have been killed in Israeli airstrikes since the temporary humanitarian pause ended on Friday has reached 109, the Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed.
The negotiating parties failed to reach an agreement on the extension of the ceasefire between Israel and Gaza which immediately resulted in the resumption of cross-border attacks from both sides. However, Qatar, as one of the key mediators of the ceasefire talks, underscored that discussions regarding the humanitarian pause continue despite the renewed fighting between the parties.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, casualties were also reported in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, with Al Jazeera reporting that Israel distributed leaflets in specific regions of Khan Younis about residents' evacuation.
