White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said on Friday that the "vast majority of the global community" is united against Russia invading Ukraine.
Asked about Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro's meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, Psaki noted that invading another country and attempting to take its territory is "not aligned" with most countries' values and noted that, if Brazil disagrees, it "may be on the other side of where the majority of the global community stands."
Earlier this week, Bolsonaro said he and Putin agreed the Ukraine issue should be resolved in a peaceful manner. "I told Putin that Brazil supports any country that seeks peace. And that's his intention," he noted.
