The European Union and China are going to have a summit on April 1, the media such as TASS and RIA Novosti reported on Wednesday, citing a source from the bloc.
The source said the leaders of the countries comprising the EU are planning to discuss the forthcoming meeting with Beijing at their encounter in Brussels on March 24 and 25. On the same occasion, they will allegedly also talk about Ukraine's accession to the bloc.
Earlier in the day, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi urged China not to agree to provide Russia with assistance in its military operation in Ukraine.
