Military-diplomatic source clarified that Russia has no intention of revising its state borders in the Baltic Sea, Ria Novosoti reported on Wednesday.
The news contradicts earlier reports about Russia's defense ministry updating maritime border coordinates around the Gulf of Finland and Kaliningrad. The clarification came after the draft decree raised concerns among NATO members Finland and Lithuania.
Earlier, Finnish President Alexander Stubb stated, "The government is monitoring the situation closely. Russia has not been in contact with Finland on the matter. Finland acts as always: calmly and based on facts."
