Russia's National Anti-Terrorism Committee claimed on Monday that Ukraine helped organize a "terrorist act" on Sunday when an explosion at a cafe in Saint Petersburg killed prominent military blogger Vladlen Tatarsky. Russian authorities arrested 26-year-old Daria Trepova in relation to the incident.

The committee said the attack was planned by the Ukrainian special services" together with the Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF), an organization founded by Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny. It also alleged Trepova is an "active supporter" of the ACF. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said the Ukrainian government "supports terrorist actions" and has been behind "the killings of people for many years, starting in 2014, which is why a special military operation is being carried out."
