Russia: Iranian FM to visit Moscow later this week

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will be paying a visit to Moscow later this week, the Russian Embassy in Iran confirmed to RIA Novosti on Monday.

During his visit, the Iranian official is expected to "discuss the most pressing issues of bilateral cooperation, regional and international problems," the Russian embassy revealed.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei earlier mentioned that the visit will also be an opportunity for Araghchi to mention "the latest developments related to the Muscat talks," referring to the discussions the United States and Tehran held in Oman over the weekend.
